Former Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan refused to apologise over his controversial remark on Operation Sindoor. Speaking to reporters, the Congress leader said there was no question of him apologising as the Constitution gave him the right to ask questions. Chavan stirred controversy by claiming that India was defeated on the first day of Operation Sindoor, the Indian military’s operation against Pakistan-sponsored terror in the wee hours of May 7 this year.
