PSSSB Punjab Group D Recruitment 2025: The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has announced that today is the final opportunity to apply online for PSSSB Punjab Group D Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive, issued under Advertisement No. 08/2025, aims to fill 331 Group D vacancies across multiple Punjab government departments.The application process began on November 21, 2025, and will close today at 5 PM. Candidates who applied earlier under Advertisement 10/2024 are required to submit a fresh application under the new notification, though no application fee is required for them this time.Posts offered under the recruitment driveThe recruitment covers a wide range of Group D posts, including Sewadar, Chowkidar, Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar, Safai Sewak, Sweeper-cum-Mali, Fisherman, Boatman and Laboratory Attendant. These posts are distributed across departments such as General Administration, Dairy Development, Deputy Commissioner Mansa, Chief Auditor Office and the Fisheries Department.A total of 331 vacancies have been notified. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with Punjabi as a subject to be eligible. The age limit is set between 18 and 37 years, calculated as on January 01, 2025, with age relaxation applicable as per Punjab government rules.Vacancy breakup and departmentsThe department-wise distribution includes 150 Sewadar posts in General Administration, 68 Fisherman posts in the Fisheries Department, and 22 Chowkidar posts in General Administration. Smaller allocations are spread across other departments and roles, ensuring representation across services.
Application fee detailsThe application fee varies by category. General and Freedom Fighter candidates are required to pay Rs 1000, while SC, BC and EWS candidates pay Rs 250. Ex-servicemen and their dependents pay Rs 200, and Persons with Disabilities are charged Rs 500. All payments are accepted through online mode only, with the last date to pay the fee set for December 17, 2025.Selection process and examinationSelection will be conducted through an objective-type written examination, followed by counselling, document verification and a medical examination.
