Revised choice filling and locking dates
The DMET Odisha has revised the Round 2 counselling schedule to provide additional time for candidates to review and submit their choices. Choice filling and locking will now occur from December 18 to December 20, 2025. Candidates must log in to the official counselling portal to submit preferences for their desired courses and colleges. Fresh choices are mandatory; previous selections from Round 1 will not be considered. Timely submission is critical, as failure to lock choices will render the application ineligible for seat allotment.
Eligibility and merit list considerations
All candidates in the Odisha NEET PG 2025 merit list are eligible to participate in Round 2 counselling. This includes:
- Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 and wish to continue or change their preferences.
- Candidates who resigned from Round 1 allotments on December 16 and 17.
- Candidates who were not allotted any seats in Round 1.
The state merit list determines the order of allotment, ensuring that higher-ranked candidates are given priority for available seats.
