Karnataka high court scraps government order shutting Jan Aushadhi stalls | Bengaluru News
Bengaluru: The high court has overturned a govt order to shut down Jan Aushadhi Kendras in govt hospitals. Justice M Nagaprasanna gave the ruling in response to a series of petitions filed by owners of these kendras, represented by a legal team led by Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya. The court indicated a detailed order will be made available next week. In July, the court had stayed the shutdown order.In his reaction posted on social media, Surya said the ruling is a setback for Congress govt and should serve as a lesson that political vendetta can never obstruct efforts to advance public interest.
