Bengaluru: Lokayukta police on Saturday trapped inspector Rajashekhar and police sub-inspector Ruman Pasha, both attached to Ramamurthynagar police station in the east division, while accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.According to a press release, the duo, along with a private individual named Imran Babu, were caught with the bribe money. The bribe was demanded to register a non-cognizable report (NCR) for a case involving stolen gold articles from a man’s house.“The accused demanded a bribe of Rs 2 lakh but accepted Rs 1lakh before being caught,” Lokayukta police said.
